A local alt-country band (which I also play bass in) gave me free rein on the design for their 3rd CD, "Wrong Control." The illustration on the cover is from an 1874 book by French physicist Etienne-Jules Marey, who, in an attempt to mechanize the flight patterns of birds, would implant wiring into the muscles and tendons of his subjects. That's just, well, wrong.
